Sherry Lynn Smith

Sherry Lynn (Bourbonnais) Smith, 42, of Colby, Kansas passed away February 20, 2022 in Denver, Colorado after more than decade long struggle with alcohol addiction.She was born August 6, 1979 to Larry and Valerie (Bertrand) Bourbonnais in Fontana, California. Sherry's family moved to Colorado Springs in 1994 and Sherry graduated from Cheyenne Mountain High School in 1997. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree from Adams State College in 2007.She is preceded in death by her grandparents; and uncles, Bob Bertrand and Ronnie Bourbonnais.She is survived by her father, Larry (Dru) Bourbonnais of Macon, Georgia; mother, Valerie (Brian) Newberg of Colorado Springs; sister, Stacy (Tobias) Graham; sister, Kristy (Ryan) Anderson of Hanscom AFB; sister, Mary (Brian) Huston of Merritt Island, Florida; sister, Sondra (Corry) Keller of Colorado Springs; step-brother, Zachary (Ashley) Newberg of Colorado Springs; step-sister, Tami (Peter) Wahba of Colorado Springs; step-brother, Josiah (Katie) Newberg of Poulsbo, Washington; step-brother, Caleb (Alex) Newberg of Lancaster, Pennsylvania; step-brother, Sean Venable of Houston, Texas; step-sister, April Gilstrap of Forsythe, Georgia; and her nieces and nephews, Torrance and Teagan Graham; Kate, Ellie and Sarah Anderson; Brenna, Ridge, Grady, and Charis Huston; Katie and Sarah Keller; Aribelle, Clarette and Novadessa Newberg; Kinsley, Zane and Elanora Wahba.Memorial Service, 2:00PM, Thursday, February 24, 2022, New Life Church-World Prayer Center, 11005 Voyager Parkway, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80921.
