Margaret Ann Greenwood Low
November 6th, 1954 - February 1st, 2022
Margaret "Maggie" Ann Greenwood Low, age 67, left peacefully to be with the Lord on February 1, 2022. She was born in Wichita, Kansas on November 6, 1954. Maggie was the daughter of the late Carroll F. Pope and Jean (Love) Pope.Maggie graduated from Stillwater High School in 1973 and was a very active member of her Class Reunion Organization where she was the coordinator alongside her long lifetime friends, Linda, Barb, Jan, and the Class of 73'. She double majored and studied Hotel and Restaurant Administration and Political Science from Oklahoma State University and graduated in 1998.Maggie spent thirty-five years in the catering business where she retired as the general manager of the TSJC cafeteria. In those thirty-five years, she made many great friends (Ashley Pogue, and Dana Pierce being two special ones). Maggie truly had an art about the way she would present any catering function or just our simple family meals. She always made everyone feel so welcomed and loved just by her presentation. Maggie brought life to all and any events she was a part of even through her battle she continued to make others special days memorable through her artistic talents.Maggie loved to help others and made sure her family was always taken care of. Her smile and attitude towards life were contagious. She was found rooting for her favorite teams OSU, Denver Broncos, and the Colorado Rockies. Maggie also was a dedicated Christian who could have been found sending you bible verses and prayers of healing when you ever needed them. She loved to quilt and made beautiful pieces, especially for her loved ones. If you couldn't find Maggie in the kitchen then you could find her in the garden.Maggie was united in marriage to Lawrence "Doc" Low in July of 2010. This union was blessed and united two families. Maggie's biggest pride and joy was her son, Eric and later loved being a part of her stepson, Ryan's life.Maggie was an active member in several different organizations and groups such as her Stillwater Class of 1973 Reunion, P.E.O., and the Temple Aaron in Trinidad, Colorado.Maggie had many close friends who she loved but what she treasured the most was her husband, Larry; son, Eric; stepson, Ryan; grandsons and granddaughters; and all her fur babies. She also had a great and special bond with her daughters-in-law, Kaila and Regina. She is preceded in death by her parents, Carroll and Jean Pope; her grandparents; and several other loved ones. Her beautiful life will be greatly missed and forever cherished in the lives of her husband, Lawrence "Doc" Low; son, Eric (Kaila) Greenwood; stepson, Ryan (Regina) Low; grandchildren, Dylan, Chase, Katelynn, Jamie, Addison, and Parker. Plus, numerous dear friends and people she loved like her own family. At this time, the family asked you to understand there will be private services and will share later dates and times of memorials they will have in honor of Maggie.
