William "Bill" Francis Logan

William "Bill" Francis Logan was born November 3, 1934 in Olean, New York to George and Anna Logan. He was so small as a baby that he slept in a dresser drawer for the first part of his life.Bill worked with his father cleaning the railroad tracks until his father passed away when he was young, leaving him to take care of the family. He was always a hard worker and a jack of all trades. Bill served in the United States Army, worked in the oil field, and later in life he was an industrial tile setter.He met Donna Logan on a blind date and the two fell in love, were married on April 28, 1962, and had two sons, Garry (born in 1964),and David (born in 1966).The family lived in New York, Ohio, Wyoming, and North Dakota until finally settling down in Colorado in 1995.Bill had several favorite phrases including "jeepers," and "you little rascal."He passed into the arms of the Lord on January 2, 2022.He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Anna Logan; baby twin brother; sisters, Theresa and Genevieve; and brothers, Ray and George.Bill is survived by his wife of nearly sixty years, Donna Logan; sons, Garry (Lori) Logan, and David (Tammy) Logan; grandchildren, Meagan Logan, Shaylee Logan, Courtney Logan, Kiley Logan, Jeremy Logan, and Andrew Logan; great-grandchildren, Eden Meurer, Alijah Logan, KeeVaughn Logan, Jude Meurer, Leo Logan, and James Logan; sister, Patricia Zimmerman; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.Memorial Service, 2:00PM, Sunday, January 23, 2022, Pulpit Rock Church, 301 Austin Bluffs Parkway, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80918.The service will be streamed live.
