Steven Robert Flohr

Steven Robert Flohr was born on June 14, 1956 in Reedsburg, Wisconsin to Orleene and Robert Flohr. He departed this life on Thursday October 14, 2021 at Memorial North Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado.Steven attended grade school at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Reedsburg. Also, Webb High School in Reedsburg, Wisconsin and graduated with the class of 1974. After high school, he attended Madison Area Technical College and studied Culinary Arts. He was married to Paulette Flohr on September 30, 1988. Steven was preceded in death by Robert, Orleene, and Paulette. He worked as a chef for over 25 years. He had a love for gourmet cooking and fine dining. As a chef he won many awards and worked long hours. He was always cooking for neighbors and sharing the best recipes. We were always learning some new cooking skills from him. When you got to his house, he had recipes printed and organized ready to hand out. Steve liked to have family gatherings at his house and made many fine dishes to share for all occasions. Along with cooking he had a love for fishing and hunting. He loved being on the water in his boat throwing a line out. He was very serious about fishing and caught many large fish.
