James "Jimmy" William Clark

POLK CITY - James William "Jimmy" Clark, 53, of Polk City, FL died Sunday, April 15, 2012 at his residence due to cancer. Born March 5, 1959 in Lakeland, FL He was a crew leader for McLane Suneast, where he was one of their original employees and worked there over 30 years. He was a former member of the Polk City Volunteer Fire Dept., he loved hunting, fishing, humor and practical jokes. He was also a man of vision, an inventor who could fix anything. Jimmy was also very devoted to his family and had donated a kidney to his sister. He was preceded in death by: his parents, Bruce and Mildred Bridges Clark; and a sister, Phyllis Clark. He is survived by: his wife, Christine Clark; a son James Wesley Clark; a daughter, Alexa Denielle Clark; a step-son, Nicholas Wright; a brother, Patrick Clark and his wife Margaret;; a sister, Elizabeth "Becky" Nabong and her husband Willie; and his nieces and nephews, Theresa Clark, Edward Nabong and Emily Nabong. The family will receive friends from 10:00am till 11:00am, Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven. A Memorial Service will begin at 11:00am.
