WINTER HAVEN, FLORIDA - Warren W.Milks of Winter Haven, Florida, passed away Friday, July 6, 2012 at home from cancer. He was 89. A native of Flint, MI, born November 28, 1922, to William and Emma Schmidt Milks, Warren moved here 35 years ago from Fenton, MI. He retired from General Motors as a pipe fitter, was a World War II veteran, serving in the US Navy; he was a member of the American Legion Post #8 of Winter Haven; and he was a member of the U.A.W. Warren was preceded in death by his son Richard, who was killed in Vietnam in 1968, his parents, and his sisters Rhenetta & Arlene. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Betty of Winter Haven; his daughter Karen and her husband Jerry of Winter Haven; his sister Charlotte Lambert of Montrose, MI; five grandchildren: Heather McCrimmon(Marco) Pena, Richard McCrimmon, Kim Wallace, Cindy Little, and Kathy Valencia; and several great-grandchildren Memorial services will be Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at 6:00 PM.
