Sinh Van Vuong

WINTER HAVEN, FLORIDA - Sinh Van Vuong of Winter Haven, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2012 at the Good Shepherd Hospice Forsythe Center in Auburndale. He was 75. A native of Vietnam, born to Mai & Cai Pham Vuong, Sinh moved here in 1975. He was the owner of Vuong's Tire Service in Winter Haven, and was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. He was instrumental in starting the Vietnamese Catholic Community in this area. Sinh was predeceased by his son Loc Vuong. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Huyen Vuong of Winter Haven; sons: Hoa Vuong of Winter Haven and Binh Vuong of North Carolina; his daughters: Hang Le of Orlando, Hien Brafford of South Carolina, Hanh Sinkhorn of Orlando, and Hieu Nguyen of Winter Haven; his brothers: Quy Vuong of Winter Haven, Chinh Vuong of Lake Alfred; and his sisters: Hue Dang of Winter Haven and Hong Stiger of Lakeland. Sinh also has 9 grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 9 PM at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Winter Haven. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 AM Thursday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens, Auburndale.
