DAVENPORT - George Charles Sachs, Jr., 73, of Davenport died August 11, 2012 at his home. He was born June 1, 1939 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to George Charles Sachs, Sr. and Mary (Seymore) Sachs. Mr. Sachs was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was employed as a Custodian at EPCOT for Walt Disney World. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing and golf, was a 39 year volunteer fireman, and a volunteer Boy Scout Leader. He is survived by his wife Margaret Sachs; sons George (Patricia) Sachs and David Sachs; brother Steve (Roseann) Sachs; sister Rose (William) McNulty; grandsons David and Travis Sachs; and step granddaughter Nicole Martino. Memorial Services will be held Friday, August 17, 2012 at 1:00PM at Oak Ridge Funeral Care Haines City.
