Joe Black, 74 of Winter Haven, passed away Thursday, September 6, 2012 at the Winter Haven Hospital. A native of Gulf Hammock, FL, born May 13, 1938 to Archie & Ruby Black, Joe has lived in this area his entire life. He retired as a warehouseman & maintenance man for Scotty's Hardware. Joe enjoyed bowling and fishing, where he won many tournaments. Joe is survived by his loving wife of 43 years: Peggy, of Winter Haven; his nephew and his wife: William Bradley Edwards and Lorianne of Lakeland; nephew C.J. Cale, and niece: Allison Cale, both of Lakeland, and his sister: Ida Cale, also of Lakeland. Visitation will be Saturday 9/8/12 from 11:30AM to 12:30 PM at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven. Graveside services will follow at 1:00 PM at Lakeside Memorial Park.
