Catherine V. Carrick, 82, of Winter Haven, FL passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at her residence due to heart failure. Born June 22, 1931 in Cedar Springs, GA she moved to Winter Haven 7 years ago from Adrian, GA. She was a homemaker and was a member of Norristown Baptist Church in Norristown, GA. Catherine is survived by: 3 daughters, Clara Trawick and her husband Doug of Haines City, FL, Mary Thompson Christiansen and her husband Bob of Winter Haven, FL and Vickie Ramirez and her husband Francisco of Auburndale, FL; a son, Ronald Warren and his wife Joann of Eagle Lake, FL; Frank Wright, her companion of 35 years; a brother, Virgil Causey and his wife Linda of Jesup, GA; 9 grandchildren, Rick Wiley, Kimberly Thompson Oberle, Danielle Cruz, Nicole Brinson, Todd Warren, Teresa Thompson, Tammy Meadows, Danny Warren and Sammy Warren; 16 great-grandchildren and several great great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be at 2:00pm, Sunday, September 15, 2013 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven. In lieu of flowers please make memorial donations in her name to the American Heart Assn. or Cornerstone Hospice. Condolences may be sent at www.oakridgefuneralcare.com.
