Janet M. Hughes

Janet Hughes of Davenport, Florida passed away on November 23, 2013. She was 72. She was born on November 5, 1941 in Florala, Alabama to William and Versie Nobles Manning and moved to Davenport in 1957 from Florala. Janet was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She truly loved her time spent with her family and her church. She is survived by her husband, of 55 years, Jimmy Hughes; children, Billy Hughes and his wife, Marie of Oxford, Florida, Lanese Mays and her husband Richard of Oxford, Florida, Bobby Hughes and his wife Trina of Davenport, Florida, Angel Hughes-Webber and her husband Marc of Belleview, Florida; grandchildren, Justin Hughes of Wildwood, Florida, Chad Hughes and his wife Angela of Wildwood, Florida, Jeremy Hughes of Ider, Alabama, Amber Hughes of Haines City, Florida; great grandchildren, Hayden Hughes, Ashton Hughes, Kameron Hughes, Hudson Hughes; sisters, Anne Brooks of Albany, Georgia, Ruth Shuster of Albany, Georgia, Vernelle Gautney of Laurel Hills, Georgia, Linda Miller of Paxton, Florida and Janet's twin sister, Jeanette Harrell of Paxton, Georgia. A visitation will be Tuesday, November 26, 2013 from 2:00 pm until the funeral at 3:00 pm at Oak ridge Funeral Care, Haines City with Pastor Eddie Mixon of Sound of Light Ministries officiating. Final resting place will be at Forest Hill Cemetery, Haines City, Florida.
