Janice L. Reeves

Janice Matthews Reeves born November 1, 1938 at 503 Buckley Street, Flat River, MO, passed away Friday, February 28, 2014 from cancer. She was 75. Janice moved here in 1973. She was a Homemaker, and she formerly worked 13 years for Bagley Bait, and 20 years for Winn Dixie. She was also a member of Heaven Bound Freewill Baptist Church of Lakeland. Janice was preceded in death by her son Kevin S. Reeves, and her parents. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Sherdell C. Reeves of Auburndale, her daughters: Laura Lane (John) of Winter Haven, and Rebecca "Becky" Brown (Perry) of Frostproof; her sisters: Colleen Stroup of Pensacola, FL, Joan Eaton of BonneTerre, MO, June Winch of Springfield, MO, and Vicky Franklin of Deslodge, MO. Janice also leaves behind her grandchildren: Adam Short, Clifford Reeves, Christopher Reeves Leanna Lane, J.J. Lane, Savannah Lane, and Rusty Lane, and her great grandchildren: Arrington Short, Madalyn Reeves, and Cari Reeves. Visitation will be Tuesday from 1 to 2 PM at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM. Interment will be at Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens.
