Stanley Paul Herwick, 78, of Winter Haven passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at Winter Haven Hospital due to cancer. Born January 21, 1936 in Brooklyn, NY he moved here 13 years ago. He was a retired railroad worker and was a attended St. Matthew Catholic Church in Winter Haven. Stanley was also a veteran of the Korean War having served in the US Navy and was a past member of the Sons of Norway in New York. He is survived by: his wife of 54 years, Joan; 4 sons, Paul, Glen, Charles and Joseph Herwick; and 5 grandchildren, Brandon Herwick, Tyler Herwick, Tess Herwick, Ella Herwick-Poutre and Noemi Herwick-Poutre. The family will have a gathering of friends on Friday, April 25, 2014 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven from 2:00 till 4:00pm. In lieu of flowers please make memorial donations in his name to the American Cancer Society. Condolences may be sent at www.oakridgefuneralcare.com
