DAVENPORT - Robert E. Justus, 69, of Davenport died Monday, August 3, 2015 at his residence. He was born September 11, 1945 in Owensboro, KY to William Olus and Lora Rebecca (Long) Justus. Mr. Justus was a veteran of the United States Navy, was Christian by faith and worked for many years in law enforcement and in security. He was also a member of The American Legion. He was predeceased by his parents and sister Darlene Matheny and is survived by his wife of 16 years Bonnita Justus; sons Robert E. Justus II of SC, Christopher (Nickole) Justus of Davenport, Cary (Alta) Justus of SC and Adam Justus of Davenport; brothers Olus (Sandy) Justus of IN and Norman (Beverly) Justus of IN; sisters Doris Jean Hanes of IN, Gail (Stan) Bailey of IN, Beverly (Don) Jones of IN and Sharon (Steve) Hart of IN; and 5 grandchildren. Visitation will be held Friday, August 7, 2015 from 2-3PM with Funeral Services at 3PM at Oak Ridge Funeral Care Haines City. Private interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery.
