Dow L. Jacobs of Winter Haven passed away Wednesday September 23, 2015 after a long illness. He was born August 7, 1940 in Jacksonville, Florida to H. Lenton Jacobs and Wylena Dowling Jacobs. He was predeceased by his father, mother and brother Jerry. Surviving are his daughter and longtime care giver Susie Jacobs, his wife Kathy Jacobs, sister Paulette Jacobs, niece Laura Stoner, great niece Lacy Tillman, aunt Theresa McMickle and numerous cousins. Dow lived in Port Wentworth and Savannah, Georgia most of his life. Follow his retirement he moved to Winter Haven, Florida where he enjoyed fishing, boating, and playing bingo at the Moose Lodge.
