WINTER HAVEN - Margie A. McGuire died on December 2, 2015, at Consulate Health Care of Winter Haven. She was 92 years old. She was preceded by in death her parents, Karl and Esther Lathers Apfel; brother, Robert Apfel; and sister, Nellie Ann Waters. She is survived by sister, Caroline Apfel; niece, Ann Marie Waters; nephew, Kevin Waters; and great niece, Keleigh Jade Waters. She was a graduate of the University of South Florida and supervised the remedial lab at Polk State College.
