Richard J. Willis

HAINES CITY - Richard J. Willis, 63, of Haines City died Friday, February 12, 2016 at Heart of Florida Regional Medical Center. He was born May 4, 1952 in Winter Haven to Gilbert J. Willis and Adelene Mixon Willis. Mr. Willis was Baptist by faith and worked for the Polk County Utilities Department as a Supervisor. He was predeceased by his father; brothers Gilbert J. Willis, Jr. and Gregory L. Willis; and sister Linda Willis. He is survived by his mother; Aunt Carolyn Dennis; Uncle Ray Willas; and cousins Mark Johnson, Patrick Dennis, John Dennis and Donna Callahan. Memorial Services will be held Sunday, February 21, 2016 at 3:30PM at Westside Baptist Church in Haines City with Rev. Richard Dunaway, Rev. Patrick Dennis and Rev. Henry Ramey officiating. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Westside Baptist Church Benevolence Fund.
