Phyllis Jean Allison

Long-time Colorado Springs, Colorado resident, Phyllis Jean Allison passed peacefully at her home on March 24, 2021. Living in Colorado Springs prior to moving to the Mountains, Phyllis was an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary Plumbers Local 58 and Adoptive Mothers Club of Colorado Springs. Phyllis, along with her husband Bobby, raised two children in Breckenridge, Colorado. Many years were spent being part of the Summit County School District Kitchen Staff and Holiday Inn Summit County as the Executive Housekeeper. These positions kept her busy, she still left time to enjoy gardening at their home and traveling. Phyllis and Bobby moved back to Colorado Springs where they retired and split time between that home and Arizona for many years. She enjoyed spending as much time as possible with her granddaughter, Lindsay.Phyllis was part of a large family and will be missed by all. Her outward look on life and holding family gatherings at holiday time will be greatly missed.Phyllis is preceded in death by her father, Dee Klein; mother, Isabelle Klein; sisters, Ruby, Patricia; and brothers, Richard and Jack. She is survived by her husband, Bobby Allison; son, Kevin Allison; daughter, Karen (Mark) Rozman; granddaughter, Lindsay Melvin; along with her sisters, Carolyn (Harold) Hertel, Barbara (Mac) Krentzel, Kay (Jim) Parks, Donna Sherman; brothers, Bob Klein, Eldon Klein, Jody Klein and Steve (Penny) Klein; along with numerous nieces and nephews.Visitation, 4:00PM-6:00PM, Thursday, April 8, 2021, The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 East Platte Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80909.Funeral Service, 1:00PM, Friday, April 9, 2021, The Springs Funeral Services.Attendees will be capped at 75 people, facial masks/coverings are required to attend.The Funeral Service will be streamed live.
