Robert Wayne Haskins

Robert Wayne Haskins of Haines City, Florida passed away on March 25, 2016 at his residence. He was 94. Robert was born on December 25, 1921 in Eagleville, Missouri to Mark and Freida Stafford Haskins and moved from Missouri in the 1920's to Lake Hamilton, Florida. During W.W. II he was a civilian flight instructor, instructing new airman how to fly and when his contract was over he was enlisted into the service of the U.S. Army Air Corps and was trained how to fly by some of the same recruits he instructed. Back home Robert got into the citrus business, more specifically the harvesting side of it, even owning his own harvesting company. Robert is predeceased by his first wife, Rena Barfield Haskins and his second wife, Eleanor Mathews Haskins and he is survived by his son, Robert Wayne Haskins; daughters, Sheri Stearns, Cynthia Celestino ; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.
