Merle Cribbs Bradley of Haines City, Florida passed away on December 3, 2016. She was 75. Merle was born on March 11, 1941 in Winter Haven, Florida to Gaston Cribbs and Marie Parker Cribbs. She was a hair dresser who loved cutting and styling hair, not only for her customers but also for her family. While at home Merle was known for her passion to shop on the QVC Network, but she loved getting out of the house and going to the beach and fishing or spending time in the mountains with Carolyn. Merle was proud of her family and loved spending time with them at family reunions, especially the time with her grandchildren, playing card games and watching horror films with the older ones. She loved teaching her grand girls the art of baking and cooking, especially all of the fish she had caught at the beach, she loved eating fried fish. Another passion for Merle was traveling, she has been to California, Wisconsin, Ohio, North Carolina, Virginia and in fact she and her sister, Margaret, went on a cruise and she had a wonderful time. Merle was predeceased by her parents; husband, J.C. Bradley; brothers, Marvin Ratliff, Willie Cribbs, David Cribbs, Herman Cribbs, James Cribbs; son, Douglas N. Wimberly and grandson, John Wayne Bradley, Jr.. She is survived by her daughters, Sarah Parker and her husband, Johnny, Rosa Johnson and Boyd Beasley; son, John Wayne Bradley and his wife, Debbie Day; grandchildren, Tonya Pope and her husband, John, Vickey Silvers, Shawn Johnson, Scott Johnson and his wife, Ciara, Natalee Brown, Celina Simpson and her husband, John; great grandchildren, Jonathan Pope, Lindsey Pope, Jeffrey Carr and his wife, Brittney, Tristan Carr and his wife, Miranda, Austin Eisenhower, Levi Johnson, Brilee Johnson; great-great grandchild, Kayleigh Carr; sister, Margaret Reed and her husband, Tom; sisters-in-law, Betty Cribbs, Betty Sue and lots of nieces and nephews. A visitation will be on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral at 12:00 P.M. all at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City.
