Eulin Earle Francis

Eulin Earle Francis, "Franco", of Davenport, Florida, passed away peacefully at his home, on Wednesday, August 2nd 2017 at the age of 79. Eulin was born on December 5, 1937 in Kingston, Jamaica to Iris Maude Anderson and Clifford Lancelot Francis. He attended Old England School in Manchester, and graduated from Kingston Technical School while an apprentice at John Crook Automobiles Limited. He diligently worked his way up the ranks from apprentice to Supervisor of the auto body shop, and was employed by the company for over 32 years, prior to emigrating to the United States in 1985. In New York and New Jersey, he worked for Plymouth Stores at various locations, and Valley Fair Department store in Irvington, New Jersey. Eulin was an avid "chair golfer", enjoyed playing mini golf, a car enthusiast, and fan of tennis and boxing. He spent most of his time gardening, reading, and spending time with his "grandboys" tweaking their cars, and spending fun quality time with his great-grandchildren. Eulin is survived by his wife Fay V. Francis, his two daughters, Arlene A. Murray, Yvonne K. Scarlett, three grandsons - Devin Scarlett, Jermaine Murray, Khalill Murray; great-grandchildren - Rubi Scarlett, Nilani Scarlett, Jerimiah Murray, Evan Scarlett, Catalina Murray. He was preceded in death by his parents Clifford Lancelot Francis 2012, Iris Maude Anderson 2015, and his grandson Marcell E. Scarlett 2015.
