Teresa L. Camp

Teresa L. Camp of Auburndale, Florida passed away Saturday, August 26, 2017. She was 59. A native of Winter Haven, FL, born December 15, 1957 to Clarence and Nancy Fletcher Van Note, Teresa has lived here most of her life. She was a Bank Officer for Wells Fargo Bank, and a member of Connect Community Church in Auburndale, FL. Teresa is survived by her loving husband of 15 years, Jack Camp, her children: Nancy Murphy (Jason) of Winter Haven, Kristina Hall (Zachary) of Georgia; Ryan Simmons (Kendra) of Haines City, Elbert Camp III of Auburndale, Ryan Camp of Texas, and Mariah Quinn of Auburndale, and 15 grandchildren: Katelyn, Logan, Michael, Vivian, Madison, MaCaylah, Kameron, Belle,Charles, Nicholas, Audrey, Sydney, Sophia, Jaxon, and Conrad. She also leaves behind her furriest child, protector, and most faithful companion Snoopy. In addition to her family, she will also be missed by many friends. People she met through banking, strangers that became her friends through chemotherapy conversations and special relationships through the church that exposed her to life being eternal. She also became friends with the friends of her children that she considered a friend of her own. She also had her one special friend, that was more than just her friend. They became sisters. Sometimes, a sister knows more about someone that anyone will ever know. Thank you, Brenda, for being just a phone call away. Flowers are welcome, or you may choose to make a donation to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, a place that is working hard to keep someone special healthy. The family's request is that we spend more time with the ones we love most. Life is busy and evolving, but relationships and communication should be constant and meaningful. Spend as much time as you can with those whose time is limited. No one person in the room has an unlimited amount of time. Spend time appreciating each other, not simply birthdays and holidays. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 to 7 PM at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven. Funeral services will be 4 PM Wednesday from the funeral home chapel.
