James W. York "Jimmy" April 1, 1942-November 18, 2017 James W. York of Winter Haven, FL passed away Saturday, November 18, 2017. He was 75. A native of Milford, IL, born April 1, 1942, James moved here 61 years ago. He was the owner of York Stucco Construction, and he was a US Army veteran. James was preceded in death by his father James York, mother Leona York, a brother Jerry York, and his grandson Dylan Thompson. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Patricia; his daughters-Pam Thompson, Denise Beach, and Penny Byrd; his son-Scott York; brother-John York; his sisters: Marcia Quayle, Myra Fussell, and Maria Sykes. He also leaves behind 12 Grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be Friday, November 24, 2017, 3:00 PM at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven.
