Travis Ryan Lear was born on April 26, 1976 to H. Wayne Lear and Brenda (Gnadt) Lear in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He died in his sleep of heart failure on January 2, 2021. He was 44 years old.Travis grew up in Village Seven surrounded by lots of friends in the neighborhood and attended District 11 schools. He became father to Chase St. Charles when he was 19. After some travel in his early adult life in his chosen career of construction, he settled again in Colorado Springs in the early 2000's. While working in Lincoln, Nebraska he met the love of his life, Jennifer Fox. They spent twenty years together. While Travis had his struggles in life, he had a big heart and was always willing to help out anyone who needed it. He had a great sense of humor and loved big.Travis is survived by his wife, Jennifer Fox; his son, Chase St. Charles, a specialist in the US Army stationed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky; his sister, Kelly Lear of Columbine Valley; his mother, Brenda Lear (Doug Bulen) of Castle Rock; his father, Wayne Lear (Dee Hammond) of Colorado Springs; his stepsister, Lindsay Hammond of Colorado Springs; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
