Kathy Lynn Bristol

Kathy Lynn Bristol, 64, died November 2, 2020 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.She was born May 31, 1956 in Springfield, Illinois to Wayne Earl and Sylvia Fay (Taylor) Prior.Kathy retired last spring after twelve years as an administrative assistant for the Colorado School for the Deaf and the Blind.She loved history and needlework and was an active member of St. Dominic Catholic Church in Security-Widefield, Colorado.Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Wayne Prior; brother, Darrell; and sister, Bonnie.She is survived by her husband, James M. Bristol; daughters, Diana Marie "Xiaoyi" (Dominic) Drake, Sharon Rachel Ahrens and Kateri Lynn Bristol; granddaughters, Daria Rose Ahrens, Lena Mae Ahrens, Abigail JoAnn Bristol and Kaylee Christine Pacetti; mother, Sylvia Fay Prior; and brother, Walter Prior.A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Kathy's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (stjude.org) or to the St. Dominic Catholic Church Capital Campaign (stdominiconline.org).
