Kunigunde "Kuni" Heischman was born to Else and Johann Moll in Bad Krueznach, Germany on August 3, 1947 and passed away from complications of dementia on July 31, 2020.She is survived by her husband of forty-nine years, Jeffrey; son, Eric (Courtney Blumenshine); granddaughter, Stella; and grandson, Ellis Heischman.Kuni met Jeff in Bad Krueznach in 1970 while he was stationed there in the United States Army. After Jeff was released from the Army, she joined him in Akron, Ohio and they were married. After their son was born, they were transferred to Denver, Colorado and then to Southern California. Where, to Kuni's great pleasure, she was able to reunite with childhood friends. Kuni was involved with the printing industry in Southern and Northern California.Approximately fourteen years ago, Kuni moved to Colorado Springs to enjoy retirement. Kuni was an avid reader, she enjoyed cooking German food, sewing, knitting, and crocheting.Inurnment, Pikes Peak National Cemetery, 10545 Drennan Road, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80925.
