Rick Wilson

James Richard "Rick" Wilson, 54, of Lake Wales passed away on May 19, 2018 at his residence. He was born on May 17, 1964 in Bartow, FL and was raised in Polk City, FL. Rick owned and operated Rick Wilson Painting, Inc. since 1984, serving all of central Florida, where he was very charitable and has painted more then a few churches at his own expense. He was of the Christian faith and a member of Bass Masters , he also ran the P.D.C.A. for several years. Rick was known to have the strongest of work ethics, but also loved to fish and spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is predeceased by his father, Charles Douglas Wilson and brother, Steve Wilson. Rick is survived by his wife, of 26 years, Georgia Wilson; mother, Sharon Wilson; sons, Ricky Wilson, II and wife, Marie, Ricky Doby, Jr., Aaron Wilson, Jordan Wilson, Blake Wilson; brother, Doug Wilson; sister, Tina Wilson and grandchildren, Bryce Doby, Aiden Wilson, Kendrie Doby and Nolan Doby. A visitation will be Thursday from 5-7 pm at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City and the funeral will be Friday, May 25, 2018 at 11 am at Ridge Community Church of God of Dundee.
