David Warrick

Richard "Pops" David Warrick, of Winter Haven, Florida, born on January 19, 1962 in Lakeland, Florida, to Patricia Warrick and the late Richard Franklin Warrick, passed away at age 56 on June 17, 2018 in Lakeland. David attended Polk State College. He was a lineman at TECO. David is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Debbie Warrick. He is also survived by his daughters, Jennifer Lynn Martin (Kyle), Jamie Leigh Heard (Dan), and Heather Michelle Yerkes (Kyle); mother, Patricia Warrick; brothers, Darren and Charlie; grandchildren, Keegan and Caleb Martin. David enjoyed playing his banjo and guitar, sharing his faith and love of Christ, watching football, traveling with family, and participating in church functions. He was a prayer group member at Heartland Church, and he was a member of IBEW. Special Thanks to Good Shepherd Hospice for taking care of my Husband and our Daddy for the last eight months. Also, many Thanks to our TECO family for their love and support through the years; especially, the last two years. Thanks to medical staff at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL and Moffitt Clinic in Tampa, FL. Thanks to countless number of friends from Inwood Baptist and Heartland Church. Friends and family are welcome to attend the visitation, officiated by Pastor Ed Kendrick, on Saturday, June 23 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Heartland Church, 225 Ave. B NW, Winter Haven, Florida, 33880. Following that, there will be a funeral service, officiated by Pastor Ed Kendrick, and Pastor Scott Hall at 11:00 a.m. at Heartland Church.
