Ted Sharp
June 4th, 1931 - July 29th, 2018
Mr. Harry Theodore (Ted) Sharp, of Lake Alfred, FL., passed away on July 29, 2018 at the age of 87. He was the devoted husband of Nancy Sharp with whom he shared 61 years of marriage and his love of travel. Born in Philadelphia he moved with his family to Miami, FL. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Miami where he majored in civil engineering. He served in the Army during the Korean War and later became the founder/managing partner of Job-Mix Concrete Company. Upon retirement he and Nancy relocated to Lake Alfred where he was a proud member of the Winter Haven 9-12 Project. Survivors in addition to his wife include his sons Chris and Scot (Sandi) and granddaughters Caitlin and Juliana. He was predeceased by his son Michael. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 3, 2018 at Oak Ridge Funeral Home Care of Winter Haven followed by burial at 1:30 p.m. at Florida National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Winter Haven 9-12 Project. Condolences may be sent at www.oakridgefuneralcare.com.
