Mary Jo "Mim" Upholster, 72, of Davenport, FL passed away at her residence on September 23, 2018. She was born on March 27, 1946 in Latrobe, PA to John J. and Eleanor G. Shrum Piantine and moved to Davenport in 1999 from Derry, PA. Mim was a member of St. Vincent's Basilica in Latrobe, who loved music and dancing, as well as going to the beach and shopping. She was predeceased by her parents; sister, Patricia Sessi and sister-in-law and best friend, Sandy Crognale. Mary is survived by her husband, of 52 years, Harry "Sonny" Upholster; sons, Harry "Chip" Upholster of Davenport, FL, Christopher (Griselda) Upholster of Poinciana, FL; granddaughter, Christina Upholster; brother, Vaughn B. (Betty) Piantine of Bradenville, PA; sister, Margaret (Audley) Denning of Derry, PA; brother-in-law, Terry Upholster of Latrobe, PA; many nieces and nephews; life long friend, Andrea Urdzik of Bradenville, PA, and Angel Serrano, who was like a son to her, as well as her little dog M.J.. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 - 7 pm and the funeral on Wednesday, September 26 at 1 pm , all at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City.
