Sheila R. Keith

Sheila R. Keith, of Haines City, FL passed away in her sleep on Thursday, August 1, 2019 at the age of 73.  She was born on December 21, 1945 to the late Michael J. and Mary Ann (Sturm) Kipila in Philippi, WV. Sheila moved to Haines City in 1957 from Philippi, WV and worked for 33 years as a secretary for the Polk County Schools Board of Education. Sheila has had a love for sports since childhood and all through her high school years. She was a cheerleader, majorette and a baton twirler, in which, she won multiple championships. She enjoyed being on the diving team and playing the clarinet with her school band. Apart from being an amazing athlete, she was very family-centered. She loved spending time with her family and helping them whenever they needed her. Sheila would make flower arrangements for her family that had passed away and take them to cemetery. She also enjoyed cooking and sewing. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Terry M. Kipila. Surviving are her husband of 55 years, Larry Dale Keith of Haines City, FL; two sons, Michael Keith of Haines City, FL and Rodney Keith and wife, Jayne of Lake Alfred, FL; three sisters, Emilie Osbourne and husband, Stephen of Sarasota, FL, Pam Bear and husband, Gary of Georgia and Mary Beth Basch and husband, Jim of Lakewood Ranch, FL; two grandchildren, Logan and Ryan and several nieces and nephews. She will be truly missed by all. A Visitation will be held on Monday, August 5, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. until the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. all at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City, FL. Final resting place will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City, FL.
