Terry Bowen

Terry Bowen, 59, a lifetime resident of Haines City passed away on August 17, 2020 at AdventHeatlth Heart of Florida in Haines City, FL. Born on January 2, 1961 in Winter Haven, FL to Ronnie and Patricia Ann Thomas-Bowen. Terry worked at Denny’s in Davenport, FL for 40 years, and worked at IHOP in Wichita Falls, TX. She was of the Baptist faith. Terry was known as a giver, of herself, in fact she took care of her mother and of course her boys, whom she adored. She loved her sisters and her dog, Jasper, who was always by her side. One thing she was proud of was her beautiful smile, showing it off as much as possible. You could find Terry either fishing, or at the beach, or riding her very own motorcycle, but in the evening, she simply enjoyed sitting around the fire enjoying a nice, ice cold beer. She enjoyed spending time with British people, she was amused by their accent, and they enjoyed her as well. She is preceded in death by her father, Ronnie and her brother, Danny Palmer. She is survived by her mother, Patricia Ann Liford; sons, Dustin Bowen and wife, Joni Morris of Wichita Falls, TX, Levi Neel of Haines City, FL and Clinton Reynolds of Haines City, FL; brothers, Rodney Bowen of Haines City, FL, Clarence Bowen of Arkansas, Donnie Smith of MI, Shane Bowen of Haines City, FL and Robert Liford of Haines City, FL; sisters, Tammy Pence and husband, Keith of Lake Hamilton, Mary Smith and husband, Bruce of Wichita Falls, TX and Michelle Bowen of Norrisville, NC. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 23, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City. The family will receive friends at 1:30 pm.
