Mary Jeanette White

Mary Jeanette White, 72, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 11, 2020 at Heart of Florida. She was born January 26, 1948 in Haines City, Florida to Robert Thomas and Ina D. Tanner Varnadore. She was a long life resident of Haines City and retired in 1995 after 10 years as the bookkeeper for Jack Guinn Truck & Broker Company in Haines City, FL. She was of the Presbyterian faith. Mary had a passion for flowers, enjoyed gardening and making floral arrangement. She also enjoyed raising cattle, in fact, it was her pride and joy. She loved feeding and entertaining people as well as spending time with her family, friends and her dog “Cricket”. Even though, she was a fabulous cook, she enjoyed going out to eat at restaurants, like Red Lobster. Mary is remembered as a wonderful, kind, protecting and loving person who cared about everyone, she will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Ina; and sister, Charlotte Varnadore. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband, of 25 years, Carlton White; son, Jeff Moore of Haines City, FL; daughters, Felicity Frazier and husband, Charlie of Ohio, Lori Moore of Dade City, FL, Beth Palmer and husband, Cary of Lake Hamilton, FL and Amy Shortnancy and husband, Mac of Tennessee; sixteen grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren. A service will be held Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at 10 a.m. at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City. Interment will immediately follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City, FL. The family has asked for mask to be worn and please observe proper social distancing.
