Alberto D. Piñero

Alberto D. Piñero, of Wellington , Florida passed away Sunday October 25th, 2020 surrounded by his family after reaching the age of 87 years old. He was the beloved husband of the late Raquel Piñero. He was a loving father to Ivon Piñero and Alan Piñero. He was the proud grandfather of Raquel Paz Suarez, Allan and Andrew Piñero and proud great-grandpa of Alexander, Andres, Allan Jr. and Idris . Alberto was born on October 9, 1933 in San Antonio de las Vegas, Cuba. He went to college and studied Pharmacy. When he moved to the states he continued his passion and opened Douglas Pharmacy in Miami, he later on went to work for Mount Sinai hospital, where he retired. Alberto also known as “El Boticario” was a man that loved life to its fullest. He had a love for the ocean and travelling. He was always the life of the party and the first on the dance floor. Alberto will be forever remembered for his beautiful smile and unconditional love. Although our hearts are heavy, we will celebrate his life and find comfort that he is in heaven watching over us. A funeral service will not be held at this time. Alberto D. Piñero, de Wellington, Florida falleció el domingo 25 de octubre de 2020 rodeado de su familia después de alcanzar la edad de 87 años. Era el amado esposo de la difunta Raquel Piñero. Fué el padre amoroso de Ivon Piñero y Alan Piñero. Fué el orgulloso abuelo de Raquel Paz Suárez, Allen y Andrew Piñero. También fué el orgulloso bisabuelo de Alexander, Andrés, Allan Jr. y Idris. Alberto nació el 9 de octubre de 1933 en San Antonio de las Vegas, Cuba. Fué a la universidad y estudió Farmacia. Cuando se mudó a los Estados Unidos continuó su pasión y abrió la Farmacia Douglas en Miami. Más tarde se fué a trabajar para el hospital Mount Sinai, de el cual se retiró. Alberto también conocido como 'El Boticario' fue un hombre que amaba la vida al máximo. Tenía un amor por el océano y viajar. Siempre fué la vida de la fiesta y el primero en la pista de baile. Alberto será recordado para siempre por su hermosa sonrisa y amor incondicional. Aunque nos pesa su pérdida en nuestros corazones, celebraremos su vida y encontraremos consuelo de que está cuidándonos desde el cielo. El servicio funerario no se llevará a cabo esta vez.
