Charles Wendell 'Chuck' Hill, Jr., went into his final rest on Thursday, February 11, 2021. Charles was born in Fort Wayne, IN on February 27th, 1951. He moved to Central Florida in the 80s. After retirement, he went on to work for The Home Depot, which he loved. Charles was very loved and was always willing to help anyone in need. He enjoyed watching football, rooting on Notre Dame and the Chicago Bears. He is a committed husband, loving father and dedicated papa. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Wendell Hill, Sr. and his mother, Dorothy Shuler. Charles is survived by his wife LeighAnn Swain-Hill, daughter, Rhonda Reno of Indiana, daughter Hope Steffe of Indiana, daughter Meagan and son-in-law Chance Raybeck of Florida; two sisters; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and many other family. Charles was a very committed and dedicated papa to his three grandchildren in Florida, Kenley Clements, Brantley Clements and Waylon Clements. They were his pride and joys. He loved them and they love him. They were always excited and ready to go to papa and Lanny’s house. He was active in the grandkids extra sport activities as well as dedicating his time watching them after school everyday. The kids will miss their papa very much. He will be extremely missed and forever loved.
