Kenneth “Ken” Edward Skinner of Bartow, Fl., passed away Sun May 23, 2021. Born May 14, 1968, in Rockledge, Fl., he was the son of Deborah and Richard Edward Skinner. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, pa-pa, and friend. He was a man of many hobbies such as fishing, hunting, racecars, and more, however he mostly enjoyed get togethers with his family & friends for cookouts. Ken was the owner of a few businesses such as Kesco Flooring and KB Storage in Auburndale, FL. Ken was passionate in everything he surrounded himself in and was bigger than life. He touched many lives and always was eager to help anyone that was willing to listen. He was known for his great sense of humor, telling stories, and sharing his wisdom. His wisdom went beyond his years and he will leave a legacy to carry on for many years to come. Kenneth Edward Skinner was preceded in death by his father, Richard Edward Skinner and survived by his loving wife, Buffy Skinner of 31 years, son, Richard “Scott” Skinner, daughter, Crystal L. Skinner, grandchildren, Kaizley & Kaliah Milling, mother, Deborah J. Skinner, older brother, Rodney Skinner, and his wife Pam Skinner, along with his younger brother, Tim Skinner, and his wife Megumi Skinner. Ken leaves behind an indelible mark on all that knew him but especially his family. Family and Friends are invited to attend a “Celebration of Life” gathering on Saturday June 12th anytime from 1pm-7pm at the “Sunny Acres Lodge” located at 7290 Hacienda Trail, Polk City, Fl. 33868. In lieu of flowers, the Family request that donations be made to KB MOTORSPORTS, LLC, PO Box 763, Auburndale, FL 33823 in memory of Ken’s love for Racing to keep his dream alive.
