Davenport, Florida—Ronnie L. Ford, 53, passed from this life into eternal life on the 21st of October, 2021 at the St. Francis Hospital in Charleston, South Carolina. Ronnie was born on April 5, 1968, in Bartow, Florida to Ronnie Gene Ford and Barbara Jackson Ford. Ronnie was a proud veteran of the United States Army. After high school he became a chef, a member of the forestry division in North Carolina where he fought wildfires. Ronnie was a semi-truck driver for years, until an almost fatal truck wreck put him on disability. Ronnie loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He also loved his family, his wife, Angel and his grandma and aunt Brenda. He loved his brothers, Donnie, and Danny Joe. Ronnie loved fishing and hunting. He was in the process of becoming a captain for the United States Coast Guard. He also loved animals, Peaches and Touchdown. He was predeceased by his parents and grandparents. Ronnie is survived by his wife, Angel of Charleston, South Carolina; brothers, Donnie of Centralia, Illinois, Danny Joe of Winter Haven, Florida; aunt Brenda Bowen of Davenport, Florida; aunt Donna Cunningham and uncle Gary Cunningham of Gillette, Wyoming, mother-in-law, Linda of Lake Wales, Florida Cousins, Kim, Lisa, Paul, Jo and Jonathon, and numerous other family members. A visitation will be held Friday, October 29, 2021, from 10 am until the funeral at 11 am, all at Central Church of Christ with Rusty Hilliard and Mackie Hawkins officiating. Final resting place will be at Forest Hill Cemetery, Haines City, Florida. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: The Humane Society of Polk County 3195 Dundee Road Winter Haven, FL 33884
