Theresa Anne Schuchman, 87, of Haines City, Florida went to be with the Lord on January 19, 2023. She was born on February 10, 1935 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Andrew and Anna Kovalchik Stasenko. Theresa moved to Florida in 1988 from Pittsburgh, worked as a secretary for the Council of Aging for 10 years, then worked for 8 years at the Osceola Sherriff Office until her retirement in 1999. She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in St. Cloud, Florida. Theresa enjoyed gardening, going to the movies, eating outside, shopping, cooking, traveling; but most of all she enjoyed being with her family, especially with her grandchildren. She was a wonderful woman like no other, sweet, sassy at times, classy, pristine and full of life. Theresa will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Anna; her husband, Russell Cyril Schuchman (2018); and her brother, Donald Stasenko. Theresa is survived by her son, Russell A. Schuchman and wife, Nancy of Davenport, FL; daughter, Dorreen Burnett of West Newton, PA; sister, Carolyn Scharer of Ft. Worth, FL; 5 grandchildren, Matthew, Sarah, Adam, Heather and Kyle; and a grandchild.
