Phil Dovico

Mr. Phil Dovico, age 87, a resident of Davenport, Florida passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2023. Mr. Dovico was born December 17, 1935, in Brooklyn, New York to Michaelangelo and Mildred (Pitta) Dovico. He was a resident of Davenport since 2017 coming from New Jersey, a Motion Picture Operator and of the Catholic faith. Phil enjoyed reading, watching old movies, movie trivia, going to Disney and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years Louise Dovico, parents and son in law – Allen. Phil is survived by his loving & devoted family, son – Michael Anthony (Lynn) Dovico; 3 daughters – Louann Currey, Rosemary (Bill) Leamon and Patricia (Terry) Huskey; 11 grandchildren – Linda, Joseph, Matthew, Estelle, William, Jr., Peter, Benjamin, Deborah, Samantha, Erika and Amanda; 6 great grandchildren – Gloria Rose, Natalie, Jayla, Eric, Damon and Celia. Visitation & funeral services will be held at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 West Bay Avenue, Barnegat, New Jersey. Interment immediately followed at Saint Mary’s Cemetery in Lakewood, New Jersey.
