Robert C. Fox, Jr., son of Robert C. Fox, Sr. and Elvera (Ollenburger) Fox, was born December 12, 1956 in Greenville, South Carolina. His early years were spent in Greenville, South Carolina; Garland, Texas; Panama City, Florida and Lakewood, Colorado. He graduated from Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina with a major in music and a proficiency in trombone. He met his first wife, Regina Dunlap, and they were married August 23, 1980. He was able to get his Masters Degree in Trombone Performance at the University of South Carolina, and was a music director at several churches and schools for thirty years. He and Regina had settled in Charleston, South Carolina for many years.Robert moved to Colorado in 2010 and worked in the insurance industry. He married his second wife, Sherry Howell, July 7, 2017 and settled in Colorado Springs. You could always find him listening to a vast variety of music, off-roading in the mountains with his Jeep, being in the outdoors, communicating with friends on Facebook and following his favorite college football team, the Oklahoma Sooners.Robert (aka Bob, Rob or Bobby) was a very likeable, energetic, articulate, studious, self-disciplined, analytical, personable and witty person. He loved meeting new people, grilling out and having company over. He spent almost every morning in his grandmother's rocking chair having coffee and spending time reading his Bible.He was preceded in death by his mother, Elvera Fox, in 2001.Survivors include his wife, Sherry, of Colorado Springs, Colorado; two daughters, Kristen (Trevor) Lawson and Amanda Fox, both of Charleston, South Carolina; one son, J. Marshall Fox of Charleston, South Carolina; his father, Robert (Bonnie) Fox of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his brother, Ron (Beth) Fox of Ellenton, Florida; his sister, Cheri (Tyler) Iversen of Grimes, Iowa; two grandsons, Carson and Ellis Lawson of Charleston, South Carolina; Sherry's children, Jeremy Hogg of Colorado Springs, Kevin (Bethany) Hogg of Westcliffe, Colorado, Daniel Hogg of Colorado Springs, Tammy Hogg of Portland, Oregon, Sarah Hogg of Colorado Springs; and six grandchildren.
