Dennis "Papa" Dominguez

Dennis "Papa" Dominguez, age 60, of Haines City, FL passed away on November 16, 2023, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 4, 1963, in Chicago, IL, to Jose Felipe Dominguez and Nelia Pedraja. His dedication to serving his country was evident through his service in the United States Army, where he proudly earned the rank of Sergeant. Dennis received an honorable discharge, leaving a legacy of service that included numerous decorations such as Sharpshooter, M-16 Rifle Expert, Hand Grenade, Good Conduct Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Army Medal Overseas, and the Service Ribbon Mechanic Badge. Dennis was a dedicated entrepreneur and a true jack of all trades, known for his strong work ethic and unwavering commitment to his endeavors. He approached life with a passion for hard work and a determination to succeed. Dennis was of the catholic faith. He is preceded in death by his parents. Dennis leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, of 6 years, Robyn Dominguez of Haines City, FL; sons, Nicholas Dominguez and wife Sabrina of Phoenix, AZ; Joseph Dominguez and wife, Geri-Anne of Chicago, IL and Christopher Garcia of Chicago, IL; daughters, Stephanie Dominguez and husband, Devin of Winter Haven, FL and Desiree Dominguez and husband, Eric of Orlando, FL; brother, David Dominguez of Naples, FL; eight grandchildren, Joshua, Sophia, Zachary, Nathaniel, Devin Jr, Elijah, Illiana, Devin and one on the way; and his beloved fur baby, Athena. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City, FL. The family will be receiving friends at 1:00 pm.
