Margaret (Peggy) C. Dugger

Margaret (Peggy) C. Dugger of Winter Haven passed away April 4, 2022 peacefully at home surrounded by her family. She was born in North Carolina on March 5, 1931. Peggy was a wonderful loving wife, mother and friend. She volunteered with numerous organizations, including the Winter Haven Hospital Auxiliary, Girl Scouts of America, Boy Scouts of America, The Bearmakers of St. Johns Methodist Church and she made cover caps for the American Cancer Society cancer patients. She was preceded in death by her husband, H. Gene Dugger; mother, Mary Tillman Cox; stepfather, James C. Cox Jr.; daughter, Cynthia Jane Freeman; brother, James C. Cox III. She is survived by her daughters, Gail D. Anderson and Pamela D. James (Allan); son, J. Richard Dugger (Ali); seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Good Shepherd Hospice or "Memorial Fund" at St. Johns United Methodist Church.
