Imogene Nix Daughtry

Imogene Nix Daughtry, 95, of Winter Haven, FL went to her Heavenly home on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at the Life Care Center of Winter Haven. Born April 29, 1927 in Bainbridge, GA to Barley and Tessie Nix, she moved to the area in 1952 from Georgia. She was a seamstress and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Winter Haven. She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy in 1999; her parents; a daughter, Delores Collins and seven siblings. She is survived by a son, William R. “Bill” Daughtry, Jr and his wife Gayle of Winter Haven; two daughters, Patty Harrison and her husband Roger of Wauchula and Jeanie Rousch and her husband Mike of Winter Haven; her first granddaughter, Teresa Baumbachand her husband Ray; five grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 10:00amtill 11:00am, Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00am. Interment at Lakeside Memorial Park.
