Doris Schulz
September 5th, 1926 - May 19th, 2023
Doris T. Schulz, 96, of Winter Haven, Florida, passed away on May 19, 2023. She was born in Amsterdam, New York, and moved to Boynton Beach, Florida, in 1946 after her marriage to Herbert Schulz. She was a stay-at-home mom until her children were all in school after which she held various secretarial/bookkeeper positions in real estate and church offices. She loved to dance and roller skate when she was younger and throughout her life enjoyed bowling, reading, playing board and card games, and working in her yard. One of Doris’ biggest joys in life was taking care of and spending time with her family. Doris was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Winter Haven. She is preceded in death by her husband of sixty years and five of her six siblings. She is survived by her children, Bonnie (Arlin) Arbeiter, Susanne (Raymond) Borchardt, Deborah Schulz, and John (Sandy) Schulz; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Marion Gagnon. Doris will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital Memphis, Tennessee.
