Florence Lind, 97, of Winter Haven, Florida passed away on March 2, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones. Born in Palmetto, Florida she spent most of her childhood in Dover, Florida before moving to Winter Haven in 1947 and calling it home. Florence loved to read, travel and eat cookies, but more than anything she loved her job as a teacher. She was a teacher for 31 years, 25 of those years she spent at Brigham Elementary school helping countless children. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Marco Ash; husband, Rex Lind. She is survived by her daughters, Carole Lind, Janet (Martin) Kenyon; grandchildren, Katherine (Kyra) Green, Dustin (April) Johnson. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
