Donna Greene

Donna Lee (Kirk) Greene, 76, passed away at her home on 9/29/2018 in Lake Wales, Florida surrounded by her family. Donna was born in Providence, Rhode Island on 4/5/1942 to the late Robert R. and Eileen F. (Pellett) Kirk Sr. She married Russell Henry Greene Sr. in 1962, and lived most of her life in Coventry, Rhode Island as a homemaker. Throughout her life, she fostered more than 35 children, and cared for many others through home daycare. Her passion was to care for children and she made a huge impact on their lives. In 2001, she and Russell retired and moved to Florida. Donna is survived by her husband Russell of 56 years, brother Robert R. Kirk Jr., and 9 children; Kimberly (Greene) St. Clair, Jennifer (Greene) Johnson, Russell Greene Jr., Kerri Greene, Thomas Greene, Dawn Greene, Robert Greene, Renae Greene, and Bethany Greene. She leaves behind 22 grandchildren. Per her wishes, there will not be a local service. Donations can be made in her honor to Good Shepherd Hospice at 105 Arneson Ave. Auburndale, FL 33823. She will be sadly missed by many.
