William W Beveridge
July 25th, 1941 - October 20th, 2018
On October 20, 2018, William Wade Beveridge of Winter Haven, Florida left this Earth and went home to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. William was born in Greenwhich, Ohio to Whitmer and Virginia (Osbourne) Beveridge where he spent his early years. He then moved to Lynchburg, VA before moving to Culpeper, VA, where he graduated from Culpeper County High School. William went on to join the military in 1961. He spent 30 years serving his country in the United States Navy, retiring in 1991 as an E-8 Senior Chief Petty Officer. After retiring, he spent 20 years serving as a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service. William married his beloved wife, Theresa Beveridge, on March 22, 1980. William was loved and adored by the many lives he touched. In addition to serving his country, William served his church families for many years at Calvary Road Baptist Church and Faith Baptist Church. He spent numerous hours serving in many ways, including AWANAs, Operation Christmas Child, and an usher and deacon. He leaves behind a loving wife of 38 years, Theresa Beveridge; son, William Anthony Beveridge and his wife, Jessica Beveridge; brother, Gary Beveridge; 3 half-sisters Whitney Beveridge, Kelly Beveridge and Leslee Griggs; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. William was preceded in death by his parents, Witmer & Virginia Beveridge; sister Beverly; and his grandparents.
