Michael "Mike" Lynn Gilbreth

Michael "Mike" Lynn Gilbreth, 74, died suddenly January 4, 2019 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.He was born March 17, 1944 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Ira C. and Louise M. (Shaw) Gilbreth.Mike was a master electrician and a businessman. During his career, he owned several successful businesses, including ICG Electric and most recently Lumen Power of Southern Colorado.He was an avid golfer and loved spending his free time on the green. Mike hated the rough, but loved a good scotch.Mike will be remembered as "Bubba" by his closest family, and as a generous man that took care of the people he knew. He loved to share interesting facts that he had learned and made everyone laugh with his jokes and tall tales.He is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Lisa McEldowney.Mike is survived by his wife, Dixie (Drake) Gilbreth; sons, Matt (Kristi) Gilbreth, Ian (Kellina) Gilbreth, Lucas Gilbreth and his girlfriend, Jess Gordon; granddaughters, Tarah Gilbreth and Jolie Gilbreth; sister, Patty (Glen) Richter; sister-in-law, Sheila (Chuck) Birge; nieces, Carrie Richter, Holly Richter and Marni (Candler Gibson) Tuel-Gibson; and many friends, acquaintances, and employees.
