MSgt Joseph "Joe" Guido, Jr., age 89, passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.He was born on December 9, 1928 in Westfield, New York to Gaetano and Sarah (Palermo) Guido.Joe served twenty-two years in the U.S. Air Force, serving in both the Korean and Vietnam conflicts.After retiring from the Air Force as a Master Sergeant, he worked Civil Service for twenty-one years at Fort Carson. A faithful Husband and loving Dad, Joe is survived by his wife, Joyce Guido of sixty-five years and his four children including two sons, Joseph Guido, III and Jeffery Guido, and two daughters, Janice Guido and Julie Abshire; eleven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Tom Guido; and sister, Agnes Guido.Remembrance Gathering, 1:00PM - 3:00PM, Saturday, March 24, 2018, The Springs Funeral Services ~ North, 6575 Oakwood Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80923.
