Paul R. Thompson died Saturday, August 19, 2017.He was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas November 13, 1925.Paul is preceded in death by his wife of sixty-six years, Betty Strahn Thompson; his parents, Homer and Flora Thompson; his brothers, Robert, Durwood, and Homer; and his sister, Dorothy.He is survived by his sons, Paul M. (Beth) Thompson and Pete (Rosie) Thompson; and four grandchildren, Merrell, Chris, Mark, and Steven.The family would like to express their thanks to the members of First United Methodist Church of Fountain, Colorado for their compassion and many kindnesses given to Paul while he was a member of the church. The family would also like to express their thanks to Compassus, particularly Monika and Eric, who were so kind to Paul in his last days.
